Welcome 2018 With Motivation and Goal Setting

Resilient people generally are those who have goals and dreams that they hold on to dearly. These goals and dreams make them strive, stand up after falling and being innovative- to get there.

What are you striving for today?

As we bid farewell to 2017, may 2018 bring more health, more joy, more peace and more love.

Set your goals and dreams for 2018 and break them down into smaller achievable goals. The "famous" S.M.A.R.T format is a good start.

What are S.M.A.R.T goals?

S- Specific (Smaller goals are easier to achieve! You can also group them into categories such as health goals, career goals, etc)

M- Measurable (Think in terms of numbers- how many kg to lose, how many glasses of water to drink, how much to save! The numbers put tangibility into the goals and make outcome tracking easier.)

A- Achievable (Go easy on yourself, start small, celebrate tiny successes, you are more likely to be motivated if you can see results.)

R- Relevant (Set goals which are important to YOU at this point in life, goals are not for others, they are for YOU. We are more likely to strive and work hard towards things that are truly important to us!)

T- Timely (Set a realistic time span for yourself to curb those "I will do it later" thoughts. Divide your goals into goals for the day, for the week, for the month and for the year; Reward your efforts regularly. Remind yourself of the end rewards and persevere. Review your goals occasionally to refine them to ensure they are achievable.)
